Meow Meow Tweet Baking Soda Free Deodorant

Six years ago, I began my journey using natural deodorants. One wine night in Hawaii, a few girlfriends and I were sitting around discussing the world's problems. You know, like the harmful effects of conventional deodorants (Island fever is real people!). At that moment we decided to embark upon a quest to find a natural deodorant that actually worked. Stinky pits were not an option.

The next day we set out to a local health food store and purchased crystal deodorants (my husband complained). It's been an uphill battle experimenting with so many natural deodorants. Since then, I've used at least 10 different types of natural deodorants including making my own. My at home deodorant worked great for two years until I developed a sensitivity to baking soda. Thanks to my blogging friends, I learned about Meow Meow Tweet's baking soda free formula. I immediately ordered a jar from Follain. After a few days and no reaction I quickly grew to love this product. It seems my search is over! I've been using it for approximately a year, now. You only need a pea size amount so my 2 oz. jar will last me a long time. They've recently come out with a stick formula which will be my next purchase.

For more information on the harmful ingredients in conventional deodorants and antiperspirants I highly recommend Laura, from Laura's Natural Life's video on pit detox here. She has her Master's of Science in Health and Nutrition Education.
